Resolusyong kumikilala kina 2024 Olympic medalists Carlos Yulo, Nesthy Petecio at Aira Villegas at sa buong team Philippines, inaprubahan ng Senadomedals ang nakuha ng Pilipinas sa nagdaang Olympics

Ito ang pinakamagdang performace ng Pilipinas sa nakalipas na isang daang taon ng pagsasagawa ng Olympics o mula 1924.

Inaprubahan ng Senado ang Senate Resolution No. 1097 bilang pagkilala kay Olympic double gold medalist Carlos Yulo; Senate Resolution No. 1117 para kay bronze medalist Aira Villegas at Senate Resolution No. 1122 para kay bronze medalist Nesthy Petecio.

Sa bisa ng mga resolusyong ito ay gagawaran ang tatlo ng Senado ng Senate Medal of Excellence.

Inaasahan namang sa Lunes ay personal na tatanggapin nina Yulo, Villegas at Petecio ang medalyang ibibigay ng Mataas na Kapulungan.

Pinagtibay rin ang Senate Resolution 1128 para kilalanin ang performance ng buong team Philippines at ng 22 na Pilipinong atletang kumatawan sa bansa sa 2024 Olympics. | ulat ni Nimfa Asuncion
