Blue Alert status, nananatili ayon sa NDRRMC dahil sa nagpapatuloy na masamang panahon

Nananatili ang Blue Alert status o kalahati ng pwersa ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) ang naka-standby upang matiyak na may sapat na manpower sa buong bansa bagaman nakalabas na sa Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) ang bagyong Ferdie.

Ayon sa NDRRMC, ito ay dahil sa may isa pang Low Pressure Area (LPA) sa labas ng PAR ang kanilang binabantayan.

Tiniyak naman ng NDRRMC na mananatiling bukas ang kanilang operations center sa pagtanggap ng mga tawag lalo na sa mga nangangailangan ng tulong.

Kasunod nito, pinagana na rin ng NDRRMC ang kanilang Bravo Emergency Preparedness and Response Protocol upang paigtingin pa ang kanilang pagtugon sa kalamidad. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
