Umaasa si CIBAC Rep. Bro. Eddie Villanueva na ngayong arestado na si dismissed Bamban Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo ay makakamit na rin ang katotohanan kaugnay sa operasyon iligal na POGO sa bansa.
Sa paraan aniyang ito, mapapanagot ang taong nasa likod ng pagpapahintulot ng POGO at paglipana ng mga iligal na aktibidad na konektado dito.
Nagpasalamat naman ang mambabatas sa mga awtoridad na tumulong para maaresto si Guo.
“We hope that the arrest of Guo will shed light on the anatomy of corruption and illegal activities which made POGOs thrived in the country to the detriment of the Filipino people. We also pray that this arrest will be the start of the revelation and putting into accountability of those responsible for the crimes and illegal acts committed in connection with the operation of POGOs,” sabi ni Villanueva.
Samantala, sa naging pagtalakay naman ng panukalang budget ng DOJ ay ipinaabot din ni Abang Lingkod Party-list Rep. Joseph Stephen “Caraps” Paduano ang pasasalamat nito sa mga ahensya na tumutulong sa kanilang imbestigasyon sa Quad Committee sa illegal drugs at POGO.
