Coast Guard, patuloy sa pagtatanggol ng teritoryo ng Pilipinas sa kabila ng pag-alis ng barko ng PCG sa Sabina Shoal

Tiniyak ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang kanilang commitment sa patuloy na pagtatanggol ng teritoryo ng Pilipinas.

Ito ay sa kabila ng pag-alis ng BRP Teresa Magbanua sa Sabina Shoal bunsod ng kawalan ng tubig at makakain.

Ayon kay Task Force on West Philippine Sea Commodore Jay Tarriela na nawalan ng suplay ng tubig at pagkain ang mga tauhan ng BRP Teresa Magbanua kung kaya’t napilitan silang bumalik sa pantalan ng Palawan.

Bukod pa ito sa masamang panahon na nararanasan sa West Philippine Sea.

Ayon kay Tarriela, dehydrated na ang mga tauhan ng PCG habang ang iba naman ay nagkakasakit na kung kaya’t napilitan silang umalis sa Sabina Shoal.

Pero hindi ibig sabihin nito na binitiwan na ng Pilipinas ang naturang lugar at hinayaang makapasok ang Chinese Coast Guard. | ulat ni Mike Rogas
