Finance Sec. Recto, suportado ang plano ng Bangsamoro gov’t na makuha ang shares ng DBP sa Al-Amanah Islamic Bank

Suportado ni Finance Secretary Ralph Recto ang panukalang  acquisition ng Bangsamoro Government ng shares ng Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) sa Al-Amanah Islamic Investment Bank of the Philippines (AAIIBP).

Layon ng hakbang na isulong ang financial inclusion at pabilisin ang socio economic growth ng Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Ayon kay Recto, isa itong matapang na hakbang  para pasiglahin ang Islamic Banking  system na tutugon sa pangangailangan ng mga Bangsamoro People at pabilisin ang infrastructure projects upang makamit ang inclusive growth.

Ang proposed transfer of shares ay inaprubahan ng  Intergovernmental Fiscal  Policy Board (IFPB) kung saan co-chair na pinangangasiwaan nila Recto at BARMM Minister of Finance  Ubaida Pacasem.

Ang AAIIBP ay ang kauna-unahang  Islamic Banks sa PIlipinas  at kinikilala ito bilang Universal Bank na may authorized capital stock na ₱1-billion na binubuo ng 10 million common shares.  | ulat ni Melany Valdoz Reyes
