Lahat ng Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board, tutugunan ang wage order at wage hike petitions ngayong taon

Makakaasa ang publiko na kikilos ngayong taon ang lahat ng Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board, kaugnay sa mga inihaing wage hike petition sa kanilang mga nasasakupan.

Sa Malacañang Insider, sinabi ni Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma na noong Labor Day, una nang nagbaba ng direktiba si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na kailangang lahat ng board ay magsagawa ng napapanahong review kaugnay sa wage order. 

Sabi ng kalihim, bukod sa Metro Manila, na ang wage order ay naging epektibo noong ika-17 ng Hulyo, susunod na dito ang Region IV-A, na posibleng ngayong buwan, mayroon na ring lalabas na wage order.

“At bukod sa National Capital Region, na ang kanilang wage order ay naging epektibo noong nakaraang July 17, susunod na po diyan ang Region IV-A o CALABARZON at kung hindi ako magkakamali, itong buwan na ito ay mayroon nang lalabas na wage order ang nasabing Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards.” -Secretary Laguesma

Nitong nakaraang buwan, ang Regions II, III, VII at XII aniya ay sinimulan na rin ang kanilang proseso.

Habang ngayong Setyembre, gagawa na rin ng kanilang pagri-repaso at konsultasyon ang Regions I, Region VI and IX.

“At sa darating na Oktubre ang magsasagawa naman po ng konsultasyon at pagtalima sa direktiba ng ating Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ay ang region sa CAR (Cordillera Administrative Region), ang Region IV-B (MIMAROPA) at Regions V and VIII. At ang pinakahuli diyan, sa Nobyembre, ay iyong Regions X and XIII. So, sa madaling salita, lahat ng mga Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards, sa loob ng taon na ito ay magkakaroon na ng karampatang aksiyon doon sa adjustment ng umiiral na minimum wage level sa kani-kanilang rehiyon.” -Secretary Laguesma. | ulat ni Racquel Bayan
