Mga senador, pinabulaanan ang impormasyon ukol sa di umano’y pagpapalit ng liderato ng Senado

Pinabulaanan ng mga senador ang kumalat na impormasyong may namumuong plano para palitan si Senate President Chiz Escudero.

Ayon kay Senador Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa, wala siyang natatanggap na impormasyon tungkol sa ano mang coup attempt laban kay Escudero.

Sinabi rin ni Senate Minority Leader Koko Pimentel na wala siyang nalalaman na ganitong attempt.

Si Senator Loren Legarda naman, giniit na nakatutok sila ngayon sa trabaho habang si Sen. Cynthia Villar, sinabing hindi siya sangkot sa isyung ito.

Sa panig naman ni Senate President Chiz Escudero, sinabi niyang hindi siya magkokomento sa mga espekulasyon na hindi naman tukoy kung saan nanggaling.

Ayon kay Escudero, ang buong Senate leadership naman ay nagsisilbi alinsunod sa kagustuhan ng majority.

Una na ring itinanggi ni Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada ang napapabalitang coup attempt laban kay SP Chiz.

Pinabulaanan rin nito ang ugong-ugong na siya di umano ang sinasabing papalit kay Escudero bilang pinuno ng Senado. | ulat ni Nimfa Asuncion
