NEDA: Patuloy na pagbaba ng inflation, malaking tulong para sa mga pamilyang Pilipino

Malaking ginhawa para sa mga pamilyang Pilipino ang patuloy na pagbaba ng inflation o ang bilis ng pagtaas ng presyo ng mga bilihin.

Ito ang inihayag ng National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) matapos lumabas ang datos ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) na bumagal ang inflation rate nitong Agosto sa 3.3 percent mula sa 4.4 percent noong Hulyo.

Ayon kay NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, ang pagbaba ng inflation ay dahil sa pagmura ng mga pangunahing bilihin lalo na ang bigas.

Bukod dito, makikinabang din ang mga negosyo sa pagbaba ng inflation. Mas magiging aktibo ang ekonomiya dahil mas maraming mamimili at mas maraming negosyo ang magbubukas.

Gayunpaman, binabalaan ni Balisacan na maaaring tumaas muli ang inflation dahil sa posibleng pagtaas ng singil sa kuryente at mga kalamidad tulad ng La Niña.

Tiniyak naman ng pamahalaan, na mayroong mga programa para matulungan ang mga magsasaka at mangingisda na mapanatili ang sapat na supply ng pagkain. | ulat ni Diane Lear
