Kahit pa nag-anunsyo na ang Malacañang na walang pasok ang tanggapan ng gobyerno ngayong araw dahil pa rin sa sama ng panahon dulot ng bagyong Enteng, sinabi ni House Secretary General Reginald Velasco na tuloy ang sesyon ng Kamara.
Maliban dito, tuloy din ang mga committee hearings na naka-schedule ngayong araw, kasama na ang pagtalakay sa panukalang budget ng Commission on Human Rights (CHR) at Commission on Elections (COMELEC).
“Plenary session and all Committee hearings in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, will proceed as scheduled. Only personnel directly involved in these activities are required to report for work and continue with their respective tasks,” saad sa kautusan mula sa Office of the Secretary General ng Kamara.
Gayunman, tanging ang mga empleyado na may direktang partisipasyon dito ang kailangang pumasok habang ang iba ay maaaring hindi na.
Ayon kay Velasco, nananatili pa rin namang prayoridad ng Kamara ang kaligtasan ng mga House employees.
Kaya payo sa mga iba na hindi kailangan pumasok ay manatili na lang sa kanilang mga tahanan.

Those who may encounter difficulties in reporting due to the inclement weather or have been gravely affected by the floods are also excused from their duties.
