6 na lungsod sa NCR, wala pang kandidato na naghahain bilang district representative

Mayroon pang anim na lungsod sa National Capital Region (NCR) ang wala pang kandidato na naghahain ng certificate of candidacy (COC) sa pagka kongresista sa 2025 mid-term elections ayon kay Commission on Elections (COMELEC) NCR Assistant Regional Election Director Atty. Jovencio Balangquit.

Aniya, sa nakalipas na apat na araw ng filing ng COC, wala pang naghahain ng district representative para sa Marikina, Mandaluyong, Pasay, Pasig, Muntinlupa at Valenzuela.

Hanggang kaninang alas-3 ng hapon nasa walong kandidato ang naghain ng kanilang COC.

Kaya sa kabuuan, mayroon nang 39 congressional aspirants ang naghain ng kandidatura mula October 1.

Halos kalahati aniya ito ng kabuuang 92 filers noong 2022 National Elections.

Paalala naman ni Balangquit na bukas ang COMELEC offices ngayong weekend para tumanggap ng mga COC.

Katunayan mayroon na aniyang nagpahiwatig na sila ay maghahain ng kandidatura bukas at sa linggo.
