Welcome para kay House Quad Committee Lead Chair Robert Ace Barbers ang atas ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Romel Marbil na buksan muli ang Barayuga slay case.

Ayon kay Barbers, hindi lang “in aid of legislation” ang hangad ng kanilang komite sa pag-iimbestiga ngunit ang pagpapanagot din sa may sala.

Kaya naman kung nakatulong aniya ang Quad Committee para mabigyang-linaw ang pagkasawi ni dating Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Board Secretary Wesley Barayuga ay ikinalulugod aniya nila ito.

Nagpasalamat din ang mambabatas sa mga kasamahan sa komite na masigasig na nag-iimbestiga para sa katotohanan at hustisya.

Humarap sa Quad Committee ang isang aktibong pulis at kaniyang civilian informant at sinabing sina National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Commissioner Edilberto Leonardo at dating PCSO General Manager Royina Garma ang nasa likod ng pagpaslang kay Barayuga.  | ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
