Background check sa mga security guard, iba pang protection agents, ipinag-utos ng PNP-SOSIA

Ipinag-utos ng Philippine National Police-Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies (PNP-SOSIA) ang pagkakasa ng masusing background check sa mga Private Security Service Providers at agents.

Alinsunod ito sa itinatakda ng Republic Act (RA) 11917 o Private Security Services Industry Act na nag-uutos ng masusing vetting at screening process bago ang kanilang deployment.

Batay sa memorandum na inilabas ni Acting SOSIA Chief, PCol. Marlou Alzate, layon nito na matiyak na walang koneksyon ang mga security agent sa anumang criminal group o hindi sila sangkot sa anumang iligal na aktibidad.

Ito’y upang masiguro ang kredibilidad ng mga protection agent at upang mapanatili ang tiwala ng publiko sa kanilang serbisyo.

Sa pamamagitan ng nasabing hakbang, inaasahang magiging mas epektibo ang mga ito sa pagtugon sa mga pangangailangan ng kanilang mga kliyente. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
