BFAR, tiniyak ang sapat na suplay ng isda sa kabila ng papalapit na closed fishing season

Siniguro ng Bureau of Fisheried and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) na mananatiling sapat ang suplay ng isda sa bansa sa kabila ng papalapit na namang closed fishing season.

Ayon kay BFAR Spokesperon Nazarip Briguera, magsisimula na sa Nobyembre ang tatlong buwan na ‘closed fishing season’ sa Palawan.

Wala naman aniyang dapat ipag-alala ang consumers dahil may supplementary na 30,000 MT ng isda ang aangkatin ng bansa para manatiling stable ang suplay ng isda sa merkado habang umiiral ang closed fishing season.

Ang mga imported na isda mula Vietnam at China ay pararatingin mula katapusan ng Oktubre hanggang sa unang linggo ng Nobyembre.

Tiniyak din ng BFAR na mananatiling abot-kaya pa rin ang presyo ng isda sa mga palengke kahit sa panahon ng closed fishing season. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
