DSWD, naka-red alert status bunsod ng supertyphoon Julian

Nakataas pa rin ang Red Alert status sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Disaster Response Command Center (DRCC) kasunod ng patuloy na pananalasa sa norte ng super typhoon Julian.

Ito’y matapos na itaas rin ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) ang alerto nito sa Red Alert.

Tuloy-tuloy ang monitoring ng DSWD at pagdadala ng mga relief goods sa mga apektadong rehiyon.

Sa pinakahuling tala naman ng DSWD, umakyat na rin sa higit 11,793 pamilya o katumbas ng 39,643 na indibidwal ang apektado ng bagyong Julian sa Regions 1, 2, at CAR.

Aabot na rin sa halos 200 pamilya o 538 na indibidwal ang pansamantalang inilikas.

May inisyal namang ₱141,000 ang naipamahaging tulong ang DSWD habang nananatili ring available ang nasa ₱2.8-billion relief resources nito sakaling madagdagan pa ang bilang ng mga apektado ng bagyong Julian. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
