DSWD, tiniyak ang tuloy-tuloy na tulong sa mga residente na apektado ng bagyong Kristine

Tiniyak ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na handa nitong tugunan ang lahat ng pangangailangan ng mga residenteng naapektuhan ng bagyong Kristine.

Ayon kay DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, magpapatuloy ang paghahatid ng tulong sa mga apektadong lugar.

Aniya, handa ang DSWD na maghatid ng family food packs (FFPs) sa mga local government unit para ipamahagi sa mga residente.

Tuluy-tuloy din aniya ang pamamahagi ng tulong dahil ito ang direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na walang magugutom sa gitna ng kalamidad.

Sinabi pa ni Gatchalian, na nasa 100,000 kahon ng family food packs ang ipinadala sa Bicol Region ngayong araw, bukod pa sa naipamahagi nang 120,000 FFPs sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa.

Siniguro rin ng kalihim, na ang DSWD ay may sapat na pondo para magmobilisa ng tulong pinansyal sa mga susunod na araw. | ulat ni Diane Lear
