Komprehensibong recovery plan, inilunsad ng DepEd para sa mga mag-aaral na apektado ng bagyong Kristine

Inilunsad ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang isang komprehensibong recovery plan upang matugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral at paaralan na naapektuhan ng bagyong Kristine.

Layunin nitong matiyak na maipagpapatuloy ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang pag-aaral sa kabila ng pinsalang dulot ng bagyo.

Kabilang sa plano ang agarang rehabilitasyon ng mga nasirang paaralan, pagsasaayos ng mga nasirang kagamitan sa pag-aaral, pagbibigay ng karagdagang Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE), pagsasagawa ng temporary learning spaces, at iba pa.

Ayon kay Education Secretary Sonny Angara, sayang ang mga araw na walang klase ang mga mag-aaral. Kaya naman prayoridad ng DepEd ang mabilis na pagbabalik-eskwela ng mga mag-aaral.

Tinatayang nasa P3.7 bilyon ang halaga ng pinsala sa imprastraktura dulot ng bagyong Kristine. | ulat ni Diane Lear
