Pagsuporta ng kumpanyang Airbus sa Sustainable Aviation Fuel Feasibility Study, welcome sa DOTr

Malaking bagay kung ituring ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) ang pagsuporta ng European aerospace company na Airbus sa paghahanap ng mga paraan upang makatipid sa pagkonsumo ng aviation fuel.

Ito’y makaraang magpahayag ng interes ang Airbus sa ikinakasang feasibility study base na rin sa template ng International Civil Aviation Origanization.

Nangyari ito matapos itatag ang isang komite na bahagi ng National Biofuels Board sa pangunguna ng Department of Energy (DOE) para pangasiwaan ang Sustainable Aviation Fuel roadmap.

Inaasahang makababawas ng carbon emissions ang naturang pag-aaral ng hanggang 80 porsyento.

Bilang miyembro ng ICAO, nangako ang Pilipinas sa pagtatamo ng net zero carbon emission sa industriya pagsapit ng taong 2050. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
