PNP, may inisyal ng listahan ng mga lugar na maaaring mapasama sa “election areas of concern”

Tukoy na ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang inisyal na listahan ng mga lugar na posibleng mapasama sa election ‘areas of concern.’

Ayon kay PNP Spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo, kabilang sa mga lugar na ito yung may matinding alitan sa pagitan ng mga politiko at yung mga lugar na may posibilidad na magkaroon ng mga “private armed group”.

Pero isasailalim pa ito sa masusing pag-aaral ng iba’t ibang directorates ng PNP at isusumite sa Joint Peace and Security Coordination Council kasama ang Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Sa isang press briefing sa Camp Crame, sinabi ni Fajardo na dito manggagaling ang mga lugar na idedeklara ng COMELEC bilang “hotspot areas”, na hahatiin sa tatlong kategorya: yellow, orange, at red.

Bago pa man magsimula ang paghahain ng Certificate of Candidacy, inatsan na ni PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil ang mga ground commander na i-monitor ang kanilang mga nasasakupan at alamin kung may mga lugar na may matinding kompetisyon sa pulitika. | ulat ni Diane Lear
