Presyo ng itlog sa Marikina Public Market, tumaas ng hanggang ₱2

Umaaray ngayon ang ilang nagtitinda ng itlog sa Marikina Public Market.

Anila, ₱1 hanggang ₱2 ang itinaas ng kada piraso ng itlog.

Nangangahulugan ito ng ₱30 hanggang ₱60 ang taas-presyo sa kada tray na mayroong 30 piraso.

Ang medium size na itlog halimbawa, mula sa dating ₱180 ang kada tray ngayon ay nasa ₱250 na.

Sinabi sa Radyo Pilipinas ng mga nagtitinda gaya ni Mang Ariel, nangyari ito matapos tumama ang African Swine Fever (ASF) sa mga baboy.

Dahil kasi sa takot ng mga konsyumer noon, bahagyang lumakas ang demand sa itlog dahil mas mura ito.

Pero dahil tumaas na ang presyo ng itlog, tumumal na ang bentahan nito.

Kaya naman nag-uubos muna ng kanilang suplay ang mga nagtitinda bago sila humango ng bagong suplay ng itlog. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
