Nag-abiso ngayon ang Quezon City government sa mga motorista sa posibleng pagbagal ng daloy ng trapiko sa ilang bahagi ng lungsod simula mamayang alas-8 ng umaga hanggang alas-5 ng hapon.

Ito ay dahil sa isasagawang site visit ng mga delegado ng Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction sa iba’t ibang lugar sa lungsod.

Kabilang sa mga lugar na kanilang bibisitahin ang tanggapan ng Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOST-PHIVOLCS), at magtutungo rin sa Quezon City Hall.

Bibisita rin ang mga ito sa dalawang barangay sa lungsod kabilang ang Bagong Silangan at Batasan Hills.

Pinapayuhan ang mga motorista na dumaan sa mga alternatibong ruta.

Kahapon ay pormal nang nagtapos ang Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR) 2024, kung saan binigyang-diin ng mga lider ang kritikal na pangangailangan sa mas mataas na pondo, mas malakas na early warning system, at inclusive risk reduction approach. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
