Ranking ng Pilipinas sa Global Index on Economic Freedom, umangat ng 9 na puntos — Canada-based think tank Fraser Institute

Umakyat ang ranggo ng Pilipinas sa Global Index on Economic Freedom mula sa dating 68th spot ngayon ay pang 59th spot na ang bansa na nakakuha ng mataas na score sa trade freedom and property rights.

Ayon sa Canada-based think tank na Fraser Institute, ito na ang pinakamataas na score index ng bansa since 2016 kung saan nasa pang 57th spot ito.

Nakatanggap ang Pilipinas ng score na 7.01 out of 10 na mas mataas sa global average na 6.56, kung saan mataas ang natamong score sa sound money category na may score na 9.04 ngunit nakakuha ng mababang grado sa legal system at property rights na may score na 4.51.

Base sa datos ng Fraser Institute, mas mataas ang score natin kumpara sa ilang kapitbagay na bansa sa Asia gaya ng Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Thailand, Mongolia, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Laos, Timor-Leste, at Myanmar.

Base sa International think tank, ang ibig sabihin ng economic freedom ay ang antas kung saan pinahihintulutan ng mga bansa ang pagpili ng mga indibidwal sa kanilang economic choice.
