Mananatili ang Vice Presidential Security and Protection Group (VPSPG) para bantayan ang seguridad ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

Ito ang nilinaw ni Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff, General Romeo Brawner Jr., makaraang kumalat sa social media ang mga post na tinanggalan na umano ng security detail ang Pangalawang Pangulo.

Sa ambush interview sa Kampo Aguinaldo, sinabi ni Brawner na papalitan lamang ang ilang miyembro ng VPSPG matapos na makatanggap sila ng subpoeana mula sa Philippine National Police (PNP).

Magugunitang hiniling ng PNP kay Brawner na paharapin ang ilang miyembro ng VPSPG, na nagtakas umano sa Vice Presidential Chief of Staff na si Atty. Zuleika Lopez mula sa House of Representatives (HoR) patungong VeteransMemorialMedicalCenter.
