Bicameral Conference Committee meeting para sa 2025 Budget Bill, sinimulan na

Binuksan na ng Bicameral Conference Committee ang deliberasyon sa ₱6.352-trillion 2025 General Appropriations Bill (GAB).

Dito sa Bicam pagkakasunduin ng Senado at Kamara ang mga hindi magkakatugmang probisyon ng kani-kanilang bersyon ng 2025 Budget Bill.

Sa panig ng Senado, tumatayong chair ng Senate contingent sa Bicam si Senate Committee on Finance Chairperson Grace Poe, habang ang House contingent naman ay pinangunahan ni Ako Bicol Party-list Representative Zaldy Co, ang chairperson naman ng House Committee on Appropriations.

Kabilang din sa contingent ng dalawang Kongreso sina Senate President Chiz Escudero at House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

Bumuo na ang Bicam ng technical working group (TWG) na bubuuin ng secretariat ng Senado at Kamara.

Sila ang magtitipon-tipon sa susunod na mga araw para plantsahin ang pinal na magiging bersyon ng Budget bill.

Ayon kay Poe, target na matapos ang Bicam sa December 9 at target mapapirmahan kay Pangulong Marcos bago mag-Pasko. | ulat ni Nimfa Mae Asuncion
