Inamin ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na pumatay na ito ng anim o pitong kriminal noong siya ay alkalde pa ng Davao City.

Ginawa ng dating pangulo ang pahayag sa kanyang pagharap sa House Quad Committee na nagsasagawa ng imbestigasyon kaugnay ng mga alegasyong libo-libong extrajudicial killings, na may kaugnayan sa war on drugs.

Sa interpelation ni Gabriela Partylist Representative Arlene Brosas, tinanong nito ang dating pangulo kung siya ba ay nakapatay na ng tao.

Samantala ayon sa dating pangulo, siya ang may full responsibility sa lahat ng nagawa ng pulis na sumunod na sa kanyang atas, bagay na kinontra naman ni dating Sen.
