Finance Sec. Recto, pinasalamatan ang Worldbank-Int’l Bank for Reconstruction and Development

Nagpasalamat si Finance Secretary Ralph Recto sa tulong ng Worldbank-International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (WB-IBRD) sa gagawing rebuilding ng may 3,000 mga climate resilient school na sinira ng mga bagyo.

Kamakailan, lumagda si Recto ng financing agreement sa WB-IBRD para sa pondong gagamitin para sa repair, rehabilitation, retrofitting, at reconstruction ng mga nasirang paaralan mula 2019 hanggang 2023.

Aniya, nagsisilbing trusted partner ng Pilipinas ang WB sa hangarin ng bansa na maging climate resilient, at sa pagkamit ng economic security para sa mga Pilipino.

Ang project cost ay nagkakahalaga ng $555.56 million na sasagutin ng WB, habang ang natitirang halaga ay sasagutin ng Philippine Government.
