Nanawagan si Assistant Minority Leader at Camarines Sur Representative Gabriel Bordado Jr. ng kahinahunan kay Vice President Sara Duterte sa gitna ng tumataas na tension sa politika.

Ginawa ni Bordado ang pahayag kasunod ng mga kontrobersyal na pahayag ng Pangalawang Pangulo kay Pangulong Ferdidand R. Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, at kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

Inilarawan ng mambabatas ang mga “inflammatory statements” ni VP Sara na kawalang respeto o pambabastos sa Presidente at sa lider ng Kamara.

Aniya, dapat nitong seryosohin ang isyu ng accountability at sagutin ang mga kontrobersya ng paggastos ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) at Department of Education (DepEd) nung siya pa ang kalihim nito.

Imbes aniya na palalain ang isyung poltika, dapat itong maging ehemplo sa sambayanan na sagutin ang matagal nang katanungan sa disbursement ng mahigit ₱700-million na Confidential Fund—bagay na pinuna ng Commission on Audit (COA).
