Karagdagang tauhan, ipinakalat ng Bureau of Immigration sa NAIA

Nagdagdag ng tauhan ang pamunuan ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Ayon kay Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado, layon nito na mapanatili ang maayos at maaasahang serbisyo sa mga pasahero ngayong Undas.

Inaasahan kasi ang mas maraming pasahero ngayon kumpara noong isang taon.

Maliban sa 58 bagong graduate na immigration officers ay magde-deploy din ang BI ng mga tauhan nito mula sa kanilang main office.

Layon naman nito na masuportahan ang operasyon ng BI sa NAIA.

Hindi rin muna inaprubahan ang mga leave application ng mga frontline officer na regular naman nang nakagawian sa ahensya, para matiyak na naka full deployment ang mga ito ngayong peak season.

Dagdag pa ni Viado, na activated na rin ang kanilang rapid response units para naman maaksyunan ang mga biglaang pagdami ng mga pasahero, lalo na tuwing peak hours. | ulat ni Lorenz Tanjoco
