Pangalan ni dating Caloocan City Rep. Edgar Erice, hindi pa aalisin ng Comelec sa balota

Nilinaw ni Chairperson George Erwin Garcia ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) na mananatili pa rin sa balota ang pangalan ni dating Caloocan City Representative Edgar Erice bilang kandidato ng ikalawang distrito. 

Ayon kay Garcia, hindi pa naman final and executory ang desisyon ng Comelec na nagdi-disqualify kay Erice bilang kandidatong kinatawan ng lungsod. 

Maaari naman daw siyang umapela sa Comelec En Banc dahil 2nd Division lamang ng Comelec ang nagdesisyon tungkol sa kanyang disqualification. 

Hanggat hindi daw final and executory ang nasabing desisyon, mananatiling kandidato si Erice. 

Kahapon, tuluyan nang dinisqualify ang dating mambabatas dahil sa pagpapakalat ng mga maling impormasyon tungkol sa ginawang bidding ng Comelec para sa 2025 midterm elections. 

Sabi ni Garcia, nag-inhibit na siya sa En Banc upang hindi maakusahan na kanyang iniimpluwensyahan ang nasabing kaso. | ulat ni Michael Rogas
