114,000 pasahero naitala ng PCG sa iba’t ibang pantalan sa bansa ngayong Linggo, Disyembre 22

Tinatayang aabot sa higit 114,000 biyahero ang na-monitor ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), sa iba’t ibang pantalan sa bansa mula 6:00 AM hanggang 12:00 PM ngayong Linggo, Disyembre 22.

Ayon sa ulat ng PCG, sa bilang na ito, nasa 63,794 ang outbound passengers at 50,527 ang inbound passengers.

Mahigit 2,962 PCG personnel naman ang naka-deploy sa mga pantalan upang tiyakin ang kaligtasan ng mga biyahero ngayong Kapaskuhan. Bukod dito, kabuuang 584 vessels, at 649 motorbancas ang na-inspeksyon upang masigurong sumusunod ang mga ito sa mga patakaran sa kaligtasan sa paglalayag.

Samantala, iniulat ng Coast Guard District Southern Tagalog (CGDSTL) ang malaking dagsa ng mga pasahero at sasakyan sa Batangas Port mula 8:00 AM hanggang 10:00 AM ngayong Linggo. Ramdam ang mataas na bilang ng mga manlalakbay na patungo sa kani-kanilang mga destinasyon para sa Pasko.

Patuloy naman na nakaantabay ang mga tauhan ng Coast Guard upang tiyakin ang kaligtasan at seguridad ng bawat biyahero, pati na rin ang pagbibigay ng agarang tulong kung kinakailangan. | ulat ni EJ Lazaro
