Para isulong ang cashless payment at alinsunod sa six-year Digital Payments Transformation Roadmap..

Kinumpirma ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) ang posibleng pagpasok sa Philippine market ng Apple Pay at Google Pay.

Ayon kay BSP Deputy Governor Mamerto Tangonan, nakipag-usap na ang dalawang tech giants sa central bank, isang senyales upang mas lalong palakasin ang digital payment sa bansa.

Kailangan lamang aniyang magparehistro ng dalawang tech giant sa BSP bilang operators ng payments systems bago sila makapag operate sa bansa.

Aniya sa ngayon, tinutuklas pa ng ng dalawang international company ang oportunidad sa bansa.

Ayon kay Tangonan.. sa ngayon ay hindi pa pormal na nag-apply ang Apple pay at Google pay sa BSP.

Ang dalawang tech giants ay gumagamit ng (Near Field Communications) NFC upang pahintulutan ang users na gamitin ang kanilang mobile phones at smartwatches sa kanilang e-payment, at maari na rin i-link sa kanilang debit, credit cards at e-wallet accounts. | ulat ni Melany Valdoz Reyes
