Patuloy ang pagdami ng mga road accident ngayong Holiday Season base sa monitoring ng Department of Health (DOH).

Sa huling datos ng ahensya, nasa 457 na ang mga aksidente sa kalsada mula December 22 hanggang December 30.

Sa bilang na ito, lima na ang namatay kung saan ang tatlo dito ay dahil sa motorsiklo.

Sinabi ng DOH, mas mataas ng 38% ang road accident ngayong taon kumpara noong 2023 sa kaparehong petsa.

Nasa 76 sa mga motorcycle accident ay pawang mga nasa ilalim ng impluwensya ng alak, 393 ang hindi gumamit ng safety gear tulad ng helmet at 322 ay Self Reckless Driving. | ulat ni Mike Rogas
