House tax Chief, kumpiyansang makakamit ng bansa ang target na inflation rate para sa taong 2024

Ikinalugod ni House Ways and Means Committee Chair Joey Salceda ang naitalang 2.5 percent inflation rate para sa buwan ng Nobyembre.

Sabi ni Salceda, kumpiyansa siya na makakamit ng bansa ang target na 2% hanggang 4% inflation rate para sa taong 2024.

Bagay aniya na makakabuti sa pag-unlad ng bansa, at pagpapababa ng presyo ng pagkain sa susunod na taon.

Kung titingnan naman aniya ang month-on-month inflation rate, nasa downtrend na ang presyo ng bigas at mais dulot ng paghupa ng pressure sa grains world market.

Kaya dapat aniya ay maramdaman ang pagbaba sa presyo ng bigas bunsod na rin ng tariff cut na ipinatupad ng Pilipinas sa imported na bigas, at pagbaba din ng world prices.

Ibig sabihin dapat aniya ay nasa P40 ang retail price ng bigas.

Kaya naman marami pa aniya ang kailangan nilang trabahuhin sa Murang Pagkain Supercommittee, upang maramdaman ang pagbaba sa presyo ng pagkain. | ulat ni Kathleen Forbes
