Ipinagmalaki ng House of Representatives ang record-breaking legislative productivity nito ngayong 19th Congress sa ilalim ng liderato ni Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Mula July 25, 2022 hanggang December 27, 2024, nakapaghain ang Kamara ng 13,454 na mga panukala at resolusyon
Nasa 1,368 dito ang naaprubahan at 166 naman ang naging ganap na batas.
Sa loob ng 178 session days, naaksyunan ng Kamara ang kabuuang 4,760 measures, o katumbas ng 12 kada session day.
Giit ni Speaker Romualdez, ipinapakita nito ang maigting na hangarin ng lahat ng 307 mambabatas na mapaganda ang buhay ng bawat Pilipino.
“This Congress has set a new standard for productivity and purpose. Our collective achievements reflect our deep sense of duty to the Filipino people, ensuring that every measure we craft, debate, and pass uplifts lives, strengthens communities, and builds a resilient nation,” saad ni Speaker Romualdez.
Bukod sa pagpapatibay ng mga batas ay pinaigting din ng Kamara ang oversight nito.
Bunga ng mga “inquiry in aid of legislation” ang siyam na committee reports.
“We are not just legislators; we are guardians of public trust. Every inquiry conducted, every recommendation adopted, ensures that governance is rooted in integrity and service to the people,” ani Speaker Romualdez.
Malaking bagay din ayon sa House leader ang magandang relasyon at pakikipag-ugnayan sa Senado para masigurong maayos ang mga panukalang batas na pinagtitibay ng Kongreso.
“Our synergy with the Senate ensures that the laws we pass are practical, implementable, and responsive to the needs of the people,” dagdag niya.
Pagsiguro naman ni Speaker Romualdez na ipagpapatuloy ng 19th Congress ang legislative momentum nito.
“This Congress will be remembered as one of decisive action, unwavering unity, and transformative legislation.
