LTO, nag-isyu ng Show Cause Orders sa 24 na may-ari ng mga truck na bumibiyaheng gumagamit ng worn-out tires

24 na may-ari ng trucks ang inisyuhan ng Show Cause Order ng Land Transportation Office.

Ayon kay LTO Chief Vigor Mendoza II, nadiskubre ng LTO enforcers sa kanilang operasyon ang patuloy na paggamit ng mga truck ng pudpod na gulong o worn-out tires sa kanilang pagbiyahe.

Inaatasan ang mga registered truck owner na dalhin sa LTO Offices ang kanilang mga sasakyan para sa Road Worthiness Inspection.

Inobliga din sila na magsumite ng written at notarized explanation kung bakit hindi sila dapat kasuhan sa paglabag sa Republic Act 4136 o ang Land Transportation and Traffic Code.

Paliwanag ni Mendoza, ang hakbang ay tugon ng LTO na gawing ligtas sa motorista at publiko ang mga kalsada sa buong bansa.
