Mahigit 300 pamilyang OFW sa Batangas na apektado ng bagyong Kristine, nabigyan ng tulong ng DMW

Namahagi ng tulong ang Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) sa mga pamilyang OFW sa Calatagan, Batangas sa isinagawang outreach at gift-giving activity. Ito ay bahagi ng ika-3 anibersaryo ng ahensya.

Pinangunahan ni Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac kasama ang iba pang opisyal ng DMW, ang pamamahagi ng grocery packs at pinansyal na tulong sa mga pamilyang OFW na naapektuhan ng bagyong Kristine.

Ayon kay Cacdac, ang aktibidad ay pagkilala sa sakripisyo ng mga OFW.

Tiniyak din ng kalihim, na magpapatuloy ang tulong sa ibang barangay sa unang bahagi ng January 2025.

Bukod dito, maghahandog din ang DMW ng employment facilitation at reintegration support sa mga pamilya ng OFW na nawalan ng trabaho at kabuhayan. | ulat ni Diane Lear
