Pinabulanaan ng tanggapan ni Speaker Martin Romualdez ang mga malisyosong balita na kumakalat online na siya ay na-stroke at nasa ospital.

Ayon kay Atty. Lemuel Erwin Romero, Head Executive Assistant ng Speaker’s Office, walang katotohanan ang mga balitang ito at layon lang magdulot ng kalituhan.

Nasa mabuting kalusugan aniya ang house speaker.

Katunayan, dumalo si Romualdez nitong Biyernes sa paglagda ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. ng dalawang batas sa Malacañang.

Kinagabihan naman ay nakibahagi siya sa Year-End Celebration at Thanksgiving ng League of Provinces of the Philippines, kasama si PBBM, mga gobernador, at senador.
