Hindi napigilan ni Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sonny Angara ang pagkadismaya sa mga dati nitong kasamahan sa lehislatura.

Ito’y makaraang tapyasan ng dalawang kapulungan ng Kongreso ng P12 bilyon ang inilaang pondo para sa kagawaran sa ilalim ng General Appropriations Fund

Ayon kay Angara, na matagal na naging kampeon ng edukasyon, na binabaliktad nito ang tradisyon na dapat mas malaki ang inilalaang pondo sa sektor.

Ang P10 bilyon aniyang tinapyas na pondo ay para sana sa computerization program ng DepEd.

Maaari na aniyang pondohan nito ang libo-libong computer at gadget na makatutulong naman sa pag-aaral ng mga estudyante.

Binigyang diin ni Angara, na mahalaga ang imprastraktura upang mapaunlad pa nito ang pag-aaral ng mga kabataan at mapataas ang kalidad ng edukasyon sa bansa. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
