Collection target para sa 2024, lalagpas pa ng bilyon — BIR

Kumpiyansa ang Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) na lalagpas pa ng bilyon ang koleksyon ng ahensya sa taong 2024.

Ayon kay BIR Commissioner Romeo Lumagui, inaasahang magkakaroon ng bilyon-bilyong surplus sa koleksyon para sa 2024 matapos ang final reconciliation na nakatakdang ilabas sa unang bahagi ng Pebrero 2025.

Paliwanag nito, ang bilyon-bilyong surplus sa koleksyon ng BIR ay nangangahulugang mas kaunting utang ang kailangang kunin ng National Government para mapanatili ang 2025 Budget.

“This is a win for the Filipino People, and for future generations of Filipinos who will inherit less national debt than the current generation” pahayag ni Commissioner Lumagui.
