DepEd, makikipagtulungan sa DBM at DOF para sa dagdag pondo sa mga programa sa sektor ng edukasyon

Paiigtingin ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang pakikipagtulungan nito sa Department of Budget and Management (DBM) at Department of Finance (DOF) para sa mga pangunahing programa sa edukasyon.

Ito ay kahit natanggap na ng DepEd ang pinakamalaking pondo sa General Appropriations Act para sa 2025 na umaabot sa P1.055 trilyon.

Layon nitong makakuha ng karagdagang pondo para sa mga programa ng ahensya kabilang na ang DepEd Computerization Program.

Ayon kay Education Secretary Sonny Angara, sisikapin ng ahensya na makakuha ng karagdagang pondo sa pamamagitan ng unprogrammed appropriations at iba pang mekanismong itinatadhana ng Konstitusyon.

Sinabi naman ni Finance Secretary Ralph Recto, na titiyakin nilang mananatiling prayoridad ang social services, partikular ang edukasyon at kalusugan, ayon sa mandato ng Saligang Batas.

Inihayag naman ni Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman na posibleng magkaroon ng karagdagang pondo ang DepEd, lalo na para sa computerization program, kung may karagdagang kita mula sa DOF. | ulat ni Diane Lear
