Mas agresibong kampanya sa pagsusuot ng seatbelt, itinutulak ng LTO

Paiigtingin ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) ngayong 2025 ang kampanya nito sa pagsusuot ng seatbelt bilang road safety measure.

Ayon kay LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II, inatasan na nito ang lahat ng Regional Directors at District Office heads na gamitin ang social media para mapalawak ang information dissemination at mahikayat ang mas maraming motorista na sumunod sa mandatory na paggamit ng seatbelt.

Kasama rin sa plano ang pagde-deploy ng enforcers para magpatupad ng batas trapiko at pakikipag-ugnayan sa law enforcement agencies.

Ang hakbang ng LTO ay bahagi rin ng Stop Road Crash program na agresibo ring isusulong ngayong taon.

Sa ilalim din ng kampanyang ito, makikipagtulungan ang LTO sa LGUs gayundin sa citizen groups, community organizations, transport groups, at iba pang stakeholders para mas mapalaganap ang kahalagahan ng pagsusuot ng seat belt.
