Ash Wednesday, nakatakdang isagawa sa Marso 5; Manila Cathedral, naglabas na ng schedule para sa misa at kumpisal sa nasabing araw

Nakatakda nang isagawa ang Ash Wednesday sa darating na Marso 5, 2025, bilang hudyat ng pagsisimula ng Kuwaresma.

Kaugnay nito, inilabas na ng Manila Cathedral ang kanilang iskedyul para sa Misa at pagpahid ng abo. Ang unang Misa ay gaganapin sa ganap na 7:30 AM sa pangunguna ni Msgr. Rolando dela Cruz. Susundan ito ng Misa sa 12:10 PM na pamumunuan ni Fr. Vicente Gabriel Bautista. Habang ang huling Misa ay magaganap sa 6:00 PM at ito ay pangungunahan ni Cardinal Jose F. Advincula.

Samantala, magkakaroon din ng Sakramento ng Kumpisal mula 10:00 AM hanggang 12:00 PM, at 3:00 PM hanggang 5:00 PM.

Ang Ash Wednesday ay isang mahalagang araw sa pananampalatayang Katoliko na hudyat ng pagsisimula ng Kuwaresma o ang apatnapung araw na paghahanda para sa Semana Santa.

Sa paglalagay ng abo sa noo, pinapaalala sa mga mananampalataya ang kahalagahan ng pagsisisi, sakripisyo, at pagbabalik-loob sa Diyos. | ulat ni EJ Lazaro
