COMELEC, mga ahensya ng gobyerno, at mga stakeholder, nagsanib pwersa para labanan ang vote buying at vote selling sa panahon ng election

Lumagda ng Memorandum of Agreement ang Commission on Election at mga iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno at stakeholders.

Ito ay para labanan ang pagbebenta at pagbili ng boto sa panahon ng election.

Ayon kay Commelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia, layun nilang mapanagot ang mga lalabag, at matiyak na ang mananalo ay hindi dahil sa pagbili o pagbenta ng boto.

Kabilang sa lumagda sa MOA ay ang Department of Justice, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Education, Department of Information and Communications Technology, Department of Social Welfare and Development, at Commission on Audit.

Kasama rin ang Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, at National Bureau of Investigation sa law enforcement agencies na partners ng Comelec.

Magiging katuwang din ng poll body ang Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Anti-Money Laundering Council, at dalawang malaking e-wallet na Gcash at PayMaya. | ulat ni Don King Zarate
