Muling magsasanib pwersa ang mga opisyal ng Department of Agriculture (DA) at Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) para magsagawa ng joint market monitoring sa Quezon City.

Layon ng inisyatibang ito na mahigpit na subaybayan ang presyo at suplay ng mga pangunahing bilihin.

Pangungunahan nina DA Secretary Francisco Tiu-Laurel Jr. at DTI Secretary Cristina Roque ang gagawing inspeksyon sa palengke at kalapit na grocery store.

Kasama sa sisilipin dito ang Timbangan ng Bayan, presyo ng bigas sa Rice Retail Section, presyo ng karneng baboy at manok, pati na Lowland & Highland Vegetables.

Nais kasing makatiyak ng pamahalaan na nananatiling balanse ang presyo at sapat ng mga pangunahing bilihin at mapangangalagaan ang karapatan ng mga mamimili.  | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
