Mula sa 215 na kongresista na lumagda sa impeachment laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte, na naipadala na sa senado, ay may dagdag na 25 pang mambabatas ang nagsabi na nais nilang maging complainant sa kaso.
Ayon kay Lanao del Sur 1st district Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong, ang 215 na lumagda ay ang mga physically present noon sa Kamara.
Ngunit may mga nasa probinsya at ibang bansa na nais aniyang humabol.
“Yung nakalap po natin ay 215, those are the members who were physically present during yesterday’s filing of the fourth complaint. Meron din pong nagpa-abot ng kanilang supporta sa complaint na ito,” ani Adiong.
Kung papayagan naman ng proseso na maidagdag sila bilang complainants, ay aakyat na sa 240 ang signatories sa reklamo.
“The decision of whether or not they would be allowed to be amended into the complaint as additional complainants would depend on the rules of the Senate when they release the rules for impeachment so it would depend there,” ani 1Rider Party list Rep. Rodge Gutierrez.
