Grupong Bayan Muna, hiniling sa Senado na simulan na agad ang impeachment trial laban kay VP Sara Duterte

Nadagdagan pa ang mga humihiling na simulan na ng Senado ang impeachment trial.

Ngayon araw, nagtungo sa Senado si Bayan Muna Chairman Neri Colmenares upang isumite ang kanilang position paper na nananawagang agad na mag-convene ang Senado bilang impeachment court at simulan na ang pagdinig.

Sinabi ni Colmenares na may sapat na panahon para makumpleto ang impeachment trial bago matapos ang 19th Congress sa Hunyo 30, 2025.

Nanawagan rin ang grupo na gamitin ang naaprubahan at nailathala nang rules of impeachment sa halip na gumawa ng panibagong panuntunan.

Para rin kay Colmenares, dapat gawing election issue ang impeachment laban kay VP Sara at ihayag ng mga kandidato ang kanilang posisyon sa usaping ito.
