Puspusan na ang ginagawang hakbang ng Department of Education (DepEd) upang maisakatuparan ang mga naisin ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na isulong ang digitalisasyon sa sektor ng edukasyon.

Kasunod nito, nakatakdang simulan ng kagawaran ang pamamahagi ng mahigit 62,000 laptop at Smart TV sa mga paaralan mula sa 16 na rehiyon sa bansa sa ikalawang semestre ng taon.

Ayon kay Education Secretary Sonny Angara, bahagi ito ng tagumpay ng Early Procurement Activities na siyang pangako ng Pangulo sa kaniyang State of the Nation Address (SONA) noong isang taon.

Magugunitang napabilis ang pagbili ng mga kagamitang kailangan sa pag-aaral ng mga estudyante mula nang umupo si Angara sa DepEd.
