Pinuri ni Cong. LRay Villafuerte ang pakikipagtulungan ng Commission on Elections sa private at government groups para labanan ang deepfakes at iba pang election disinformation.
Aniya, sa kabila ng kawalan ng batas para sa regulasyon ng political campaigns sa social media ay nagkaroon pa rin ng hakbang ang poll body, kasama ang Tiktok, Namfrel, Lente at DICT — para tiyakin ang integridad ng halalan.
Partikular niyang tinukoy ang in-app site na Philippine Elections Center para matulungan ang publiko na magkaroon ng credible at verifiable na election-related information.
Bukod dito nakipagtulungan din ang COMELEC sa DICT at Scam Watch Pilipinas para i-monitor ang mga intelligence (AI)-generated content na may kaugnayan sa eleksyon.
