PCG, niradyohan at pinaaalis ang China Coast Guard vessel sa karagatan ng Zambales

Isang China Coast Guard vessel na may numerong 3304 ang namataan ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa 105-115 nautical miles off coast ng Zambales.

Dahil dito agad itong pinapaalis ng mga tauhan ng PCG sakay ng BRP Teresa Magbanua, at nanindigan sa karapatan ng ating soberansya laban sa iligal na presensya ng China Coast Guard.

Para mapaalis, niradyohan ng Philippine Coast Guard ang China Coast Guard vessel at iginiit ang Philippine Maritime Zone Act, United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), at 2016 Arbitral Award.

Sinabi ng PCG, na nagsasagawa sila ng maritime law operations kung saan pinaalala sa China Coast Guard na sila ay naglalayag sa karagatan ng Pilipinas partikular sa approximately 105-115 nautical miles off coast ng Zambales, na pasok sa Philippines’ Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).

Ayon sa PCG, bagaman malalaki ang alon doon ay naging matatag ang BRP Teresa Magbanua sa loob ng isang linggo.

Ito ay para siguruhin ang kaligtasan ng mga mangingisdang Pilipino, pagpapatupad ng international law kasabay ng tensyon sa West Philippine Sea. | ulat ni Don King Zarate
