Ugnayang militar ng Pilipinas at Germany, pinagtibay sa Munich Security Conference

Pinaigting pa ng Pilipinas at Germany ang ugnayang pangdepensa at militar nito matapos ang isinagawang high-level discussions sa isinagawang Security Conference sa Munich.

Sa sidelines ng komperensiya, nagpulong sina Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff, General Romeo Brawner Jr. at Germany Chief of the Defense Force General Carsten Breuer (BROYER).

Doon, binigyang-diin ng dalawang opisyal ang pagpapalawak ng pagtutulungan sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at Germany partikular na sa cyber warfare, military education and training, gayundin sa maritime cooperative activities.

Paliwanag ng AFP, layunin nitong palakasin pa ang interoperability gayundin ang kakayahan ng dalawang bansa na matugunan ang mga hamon sa seguridad.

Nais din ng Pilipinas na palakasin ang military partnership nito sa ibang bansa upang mapanatili ang katatagan sa rehiyon ng Asya-Pasipiko. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
