BRP Gabriela Silang (OPV-8301) participated in the simultaneous donning and oathtaking of newly promoted Officers while underway for its Tri-Country Port Visit to Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia on 28 March 2025.
A total of eight officers onboard BRP Gabriela Silang (OPV-8301) took their oath and received their new ranks as Captain, Lieutenant, and Lieutenant Junior Grade.
The promotees were:

- Lieutenant Alvin Carl Dulatre PCG
- Lieutenant Junior Grade Mark David Ariola PCG
- Lieutenant Junior Grade Dexter Carandang PCG
- Lieutenant Junior Grade Johanna Lumawag PCG
- Lieutenant Junior Grade Julius Caesar Reburiano PCG
- Lieutenant Junior Grade Jay ar Fuentes PCG
- Lieutenant Junior Grade Dianne Shyn Porcelin PCG


In his speech, Captain Bernabe PCG thanked his colleagues, mentors and crew members for the trust, encouragements and shared commitments to the ideals of the organization.
